Meet Paul
Paul E. Jarzembowski, D.Min. (cand.), is an ecclesial strategist, a best-selling author of two books, Hope from the Ashes and Hope for the Holidays, an international motivational speaker, consultant, and trainer, a scholar and teacher, and a regular contributor to numerous podcasts, articles, webinars, and books.
He serves on staff for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) ** and has consulted for the Vatican Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life, as well as for Catholic communities around the globe. Paul has also been the United States’ national coordinator for World Youth Day since 2013.
Originally from the Chicagoland area (in Northwest Indiana), Paul has worked in local parish, college campus, diocesan, and national ministry settings, and interned for the United States Senate in Washington, DC. He has advanced degrees in political communications and pastoral theology from Valparaiso University and Loyola University Chicago and is currently a Cardinal Bernardin Scholar and doctoral candidate finishing up his terminal degree in practical theology at Catholic Theological Union. Paul also has a great affinity for history, pop culture, baseball, film and film music, travel, and Disney.

Meet Sarah
Sarah K.W. Jarzembowski, M.A. Pastoral Studies, is a native of the Philadelphia area and has been working in family, youth, and young adult ministries at the parish, college, diocesan, and organizational levels across the United States for the past 25 years.
She did her undergrad in arts administration at Wagner College in New York and received her Master’s in Pastoral Studies at Loyola New Orleans. She began her church career in the Archdiocese of Chicago and has continued that work in the Diocese of Joliet, the Archdiocese of Baltimore, the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), and the Society of the Catholic Apostolate (and the Pallottine Fathers and Brothers).
Sarah has spoken at numerous conferences and workshops both nationally and internationally, including World Youth Day, has consulted with and coached/mentored other pastoral leaders, and podcasts regularly on church ministry with her colleague and good friend Christy Cabaniss.
Our Story
Paul and his wife, Sarah, met in Chicago and married in 2002. They now live in the Maryland suburbs of Washington and Baltimore where they enjoy hiking and nature, travel (especially to the Disney parks), streaming binges, film, and pop culture, culinary experiences, and planning their next great adventure. The two have been co-presenting on a variety of topics at national and regional conferences and in local consultations for over 25 years. They have traveled the globe, often through the work of the pastoral ministries in which they have worked, and have engaged with and learned from people and communities around the world.
