Various leadership programs and workshop options

Leadership Training Workshop: “From Ashes to Advent: Accompaniment & Evangelization through the Moments of Return”

This program (which can be done as a seminar, all-day workshop, or a multi-day conference, depending on local needs) will guide church leaders through the “moments of return” phenomenon and then move participants toward the development of practical action plans for increased pastoral accompaniment and evangelization.

Leadership Training Workshop: “Navigating Ecclesial Institutions and Church Dynamics”

The various dynamics of ecclesial institutions can be somewhat challenging for church leaders, both seasoned and new. Yet there are ways to navigate the systems and structures that underpin the Christian community. This workshop offers hopeful strategies and spiritual reflection for those in all dimensions of ecclesial work.

Intergenerational Leadership Training: “Young Adults, Ashes, and the Lenten Experience: Making the Connections”

This session will explore the specific realities that come into play across generations during the Lenten season - and how church leaders can respond most effectively to young adults at that time of year. This program will help participants develop practical ideas for intentionally accompanying and evangelizing young adults.

Leadership Training Workshop: “Innovative Engagement Strategies for the Holidays”

The holidays, especially those in November and December, are often moments of return for many people to spiritual practices. This session will examine and offer church leaders some creative ideas for engaging both actively practicing churchgoers and less-connected Christians during the Advent and Christmas seasons.

Advent or Lenten Leadership Retreat: “Finding Light and Hope on the Darkest Days: A Leadership Renewal Experience”

Frustration and darkness are a part of a pastoral leader’s life, too. During Advent or Lent (or right prior to those seasons), church leaders can find refuge and rest in this half-day, one-day, or multi-day experience, aimed at those who Henri Nouwen called the “wounded healers” so that they can share that hope with others.

Catholic Leadership In-Service: “Fostering a Culture of Hope for Your Community”

One of the key tasks for Catholic leaders is to be stewards of a culture of hope within their communities (parish, diocese, eparchy, institution, apostolate, religious order, organization, etc.). This in-service program helps participants develop skills for fostering an environment of hope for those whose lives they lead or impact.
